VICTORIA BRUCE - DIRECTOR
Victoria Bruce is a Documentary Filmmaker and author with a passion for human rights and a long history of working on dramatic and sometimes dangerous non-fiction stories in Latin America. She has had her films in over 50 film festivals including IDFA and Sundance, and has had films acquired by HBO, CBS, History Channel, Netflix, Hulu and PBS. She is the recipient of many film festival awards as well as a duPont-Columbia University Award.

CAREEN SHANNON - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Careen Shannon is an attorney, writer and former law professor who has focused on U.S. immigration law and policy for nearly 30 years. She is the co-author of several books, and the author of hundreds of articles, about immigration law and global migration. She has made numerous trips to the U.S.-Mexico border to provide pro bono legal services to immigrant families held by the U.S. government in detention camps in New Mexico and Texas. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Safe Passage Project, a New York-based nonprofit that provides free lawyers to immigrant youth.
LAURA SELTZER-DUNY - PRODUCER/SOCIAL IMPACT PRODUCER
Laura Seltzer-Duny produces social issue and historical documentaries featuring unsung heroes and the people they help. Laura has produced many stories about migration, the plight of refugees, and their efforts to resettle. She is an award-winning PBS documentary and educational filmmaker. With her latest PBS film, Nobody Wants Us, about Holocaust refugees, she has taken outreach and audience engagement to a new level creating a robust Social Impact strategy that includes non-profit, film festival, university screenings and middle school curriculum. She plans to use a similar and customized strategy for Las Abogadas.
BRYAN LITT - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Director, producer, writer, and cinematographer with 20 years of experience in film and video production and cinematography. Experience includes leading a creative team, project management, pitching, business development, branding, budgeting, and creative development. Bryan has a MFA in Film from the Columbia College of Chicago and teaches filmmaking at American University in Washington, D.C.
SIMON EFOKOA- EDITOR
Simon is a professional videographer, photographer and video editor who is experienced in all facets of video production and content creation. Having left his country in 2019 due to conflict in Cameroon, Simon is currently in the United States and working on shooting and editing for Las Abogadas. Simon’s credits include many productions for music industry professionals in Cameroon and short-form documentary and commercial video productions.
